This Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all transactions and service engagements with Trukky, a digital freight company providing Domestic transport services across India.
1. Payment Policy
1.1 Payment Terms
- Trukky follows a post-loading payment model.
- No advance payment is collected prior to loading of goods.
- Payment is triggered only after the truck is loaded and confirmed by Trukky operations.
1.2 Accepted Payment Modes
Customers may make payments through the following approved channels:
- Online Payment Link
- Secure payment via Trukky-issued payment link (gateway-enabled)
- Bank Transfer (NEFT / IMPS / RTGS)
- Payments to Trukky's official bank account only
- UPI Payments
- Payments via official Trukky UPI ID
Customers are advised to verify official payment details before transferring funds. Trukky shall not be responsible for payments made to unauthorized accounts.
1.3 Payment Confirmation
- A system-generated confirmation or acknowledgment will be shared upon receipt of payment.
- Lorry Receipt (LR) and Invoice will be issued directly by Trukky for every shipment.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancellation Before Truck Dispatch
- Customers may cancel the booking without any cancellation charges if the request is made before truck dispatch.
- Cancellation must be communicated via official communication channels (email, app, or registered contact number).
2.2 Cancellation After Truck Dispatch
- Once the truck has been dispatched, cancellation charges will apply.
- Charges may include:
- Vehicle placement cost
- Driver time and fuel cost
- Operational handling charges
2.3 Cancellation After Truck Loading
- If cancellation is requested after loading of goods, the following will apply:
- Full cancellation charges applicable
- Return freight (if applicable)
- Detention charges (if applicable)
2.4 Detention Charges
- Detention charges will apply under the following conditions:
- If the truck is held at loading or unloading point beyond 12 hours
- If delays occur due to customer-side readiness, documentation, or unloading delays
- Detention will be calculated on a per-hour or per-day basis, as per agreed commercial terms.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 Eligibility for Refund
- Refunds are applicable only in cases of cancellation after payment has been made.
3.2 Refund Conditions
- Since Trukky collects payment only after loading, any cancellation post-loading will:
- Attract cancellation and detention charges
- Remaining balance (if any) will be eligible for refund
3.3 Refund Timeline
- Eligible refunds will be processed within 24 hours from:
- Confirmation of cancellation
- Final reconciliation of applicable charges
3.4 Mode of Refund
- Refunds will be processed via the original payment method or bank transfer, as applicable.
4. General Terms
- All disputes related to payment, cancellation, or refunds shall be subject to verification and approval by Trukky operations team.
- Trukky reserves the right to modify charges based on actual operational impact.
- This policy is subject to change without prior notice, and the latest version shall be available on official platforms.
